Get out there!  We’re ready, the lake is ready, and you are ready.  Come and experience open water swimming in a race setting without the pressure of the race.  Whether you’re training for your first triathlon or 10th iron distance race you will find this non-competitive open water swim at Portage Lake in Waterloo Recreation Area helpful in your training. We will have a quarter mile and a half mile course set up. If you wish to swim more than a half mile you may do multiple laps. A time clock will be running during the swim for you to check your splits and pace.  After the swim hang out and enjoy a light brunch  with fellow swimmers and with the Epic race team.
